VOTER REGISTRATION

To vote in the 2026 primary election, you must be registered to vote in Maryland.

Because this is a primary election, voters may only vote in the primary election for the political party with which they are registered. Voters registered as “unaffiliated” generally cannot vote in partisan primary elections.

By Tuesday, June 2, 2026, voters may:

  • Update their name or address
  • Change their political party affiliation

If you miss the June 2 deadline, you may still register or update your registration during early voting or on Election Day.
